Subs for this term are £20.00 (no Brownies 14th Jan), please ensure prompt payment. Cheques can be made payable to 1st Adderbury Brownies. (small increase now £2 per session)
NB There are a lot of outstanding monies this term for uniform, trips and subs, for last term please check to see if you are owing as I cannot chase everybody. We need these payments to enable us to continue runnig and providing the girls with entertainment. Thanks
NB There was also a poor attendance in parent helpers last term, please ensure you check the list at the beginning of term and if unable to attend swap among yourselves. It is important you attend for our numbers and most of all biscuits!
PLEASE READ CAN YOU PLEASE ALSO NOTE THAT AS GUIDERS WE ARE UNHAPPY AT THE POOR ATTENDANCE OF BROWNIES TO OUTINGS (WITH THE EXCEPTION OF PAYING TRIPS) IT IS VERY DISHEARTENING NOT TO SEE GIRLS AT PARADES AND THEY SHOULD BE THOROUGHLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND. IF THIS IS TO CONTINUE WE MAY SERIOUSLY HAVE TO CONSIDER HOW LONG WE CONTINUE TO GIVE UP OUR TIME FOR BROWNIES.

We shall be collecting the tokens again this year and as last years never got used they have been banked so we can get something bigger and better this year. Please support us
Gang Show
Friday 12th March is our annual trip to the Oxford Gang Show in support of our Scouting/Guiding organisations. This year proves to be memorable for us as they are inorporating our centenary in their entertainment. For more info check out the website www.oxfordgangshow.org.uk
The coach trip will run from 6pm from Red Lion cost is £15.50 per adult (ticket and coach) £13.50 per child
NEW Centenary Celebrations at Blenheim Palace Saturday 15th May
Promises to be lots of fun for Brownies and Guiders alike £5 per child and uniform to be worn. Parents/families can visit Blenheim Palace during the event but will not be allowed into event. We will need to arrange transport nearer the time as not a lot of parking! See attached flyer Centenary Celebrations
Brownie Dipper Day Sat/Sun 5th and 6th June

Girlguiding Centenary Time Travel Challenge
This is a project designed by a Northern Ireleand Brownie unit in preparation for our Centenary year. It is a badge we will start working on next term and if you can download the resource documents it gives lots of useful information on how Brownies used be ( including Brown Owl!)

Project Streamline - Go!
Project Streamline will change the way we work. Quite simply it is a project that will simplify and streamline administration and reduce bureaucracy by providing volunteers with access to shared information and straightforward processes throughout the organisation. The new ways of working will save many hours of volunteer time spent on administration, creating more personal or guiding time. Footwear
Please ensure your child wears sensible shoes (no flip flops, heelies, heels or sandals) to Brownies especially now as the weather is nice and we will be doing more outside activites. Thank You
Emergency contact Forms
It is essential that I receive these forms back when your child starts as a new Brownie so I have all the contact details I need, I do not seem to have a complete file so please check and returm immediately. Especially now I have to input all girls data on the computer to pay our annual census.
